Fix: PS5 Error Code CE-110538-8

If your PS5 console is not showing any bugs or errors, you are quite lucky. Most of Sony’s 10th generation consoles are showing many errors.

While the console hasn’t had much time as it came out just last year, the error codes don’t seem to stop.

Most of the common errors include PSN Service Error, Connectivity Error, Camera Error, and more. Quite recently the Blu-Ray disc Error has been more of a problem.

The PS5 console users are having some issues with the Blu-Ray disc. This issue tells that the console has an unrecognized disc and it also fails to read the Blu-Ray. The reason behind this problem can be many.

Most of the common reason behind this includes scratched and damaged game disc and sometimes it can also be the result of the disc tray having some problems. The issue is also related to conflicting firmware.

Don’t go around cleaning perfectly clean discs. Use a proper microfiber cloth to clean the game disc. Always wipe the disc gently.

You need to wipe out the fingerprints, smudges, and dirt from the disc. If this doesn’t work move on to Fix 2.

Fix 2 – Insert the Disc properly

While inserting the disc is a trivial matter, there is a proper way of inserting it on the console.

There can be high chances that the game disc isn’t going inside the console properly and when this happens, the system won’t be able to detect the disc and it can cause problems.

You can search for tutorials online on how to properly insert the disc on a PS5. Since the console is pretty new, the problem can definitely occur.

Fix 3  – Try Another Disc

This is a very simple yet effective fix. This helps you pinpoint the problem. When you try another disc and if that also fails to load, there might be some issue with the console.

The issue can be either with the Software or the Hardware.  If the console can’t read a bunch of discs, the console is the one having a problem.

You can solve the console hardware disc reading issue by sending the console to the repair shop.
